It has been proposed to Metro Christian Academy by the MCA athletic department to not support the growth and advancement of Metro Christian Lacrosse Club and its student athletes in the sport of lacrosse by discontinuing the use of the Metro logo and facilities. 

There are over 100 Metro student athletes (boys/girls) playing lacrosse this year. This is a sport that has been provided to the school at NO cost to the school except for the use of facilities and use of the logo. Our lacrosse athletes represent Metro every weekend around the Tulsa community and provide free advertising for our school to help draw new families to be part of Metro. There are a LOT of Metro families that have invested a significant amount of time and money to growing the sport of lacrosse, and its success at Metro Christian Academy.

Metro Christian Lacrosse Club wishes to continue to work hand and hand with the school and its athletic department to continue the growth and success of lacrosse in our school and to continue to provide our student athletes with a highly competitive, fast paced team spring team sport. In 2023 we are planning to start our 1st boys and girls High School lacrosse program. The only way the success of lacrosse can happen at Metro is to have the school's support and blessing. If Metro decides to deny the Club of the use of its logo and facilities, it would kill lacrosse at Metro Christian Academy as we know it today.
