Bogotá, Colombia. 

James, Lars, Kirk and Robert:

As you probably already know, we all are very excited and eager to see you live again. Colombia is always waiting for you to sing along with you, to make you feel all the force and energy that we receive from you and, somehow, give it back to you.

We are aware that there are fans that are coming for the first time to see you and who would like to hear songs that are a must in your shows: One, Master of Puppets, Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, Ride the Lightning, Creeping Death, For Whom the Bell Tolls and Seek and Destroy.

However, every day, hundreds of Spotify and Deezer playlists are nurtured with Metallica songs, and many of those songs do not have the chance of being played live. Many of us hear our favorite songs, play them over and over again, we sing them when we hang out with our friends, hoping to be lucky enough to hear them being played live by you.

Next November 1, we will have this chance, let’s take it! We have made a huge effort to gather thousands of signatures for this letter and we all have agreed on the following 12 songs, so you can consider if they can be included one or more in the set list for Bogota:

• The Call Of Ktulu
• Fight Fire With Fire
• Disposable Heroes
• Damage Inc.
• Dyers Eve
• Frayed Ends Of Sanity
• My Friend Of Misery
• Wherever I May Roam
• Until It Sleeps

We really hope this letter can make its way to you with our best intention and the only purpose of generating a mutual chance for playing and hearing other songs. We all know that this can be the greatest show ever!

Siempre los estamos esperando, siempre tenemos ganas de verlos y de cantar con ustedes, siempre tenemos ganas de hacerles sentir la fuerza y la energía que ustedes nos brindan y tener la oportunidad de devolvérsela.

Todos los días, cientos de playlists de Spotify y Deezer se alimentan con canciones de Metallica que no siempre tiene una oportunidad en vivo, muchos de nosotros oímos “nuestras otras canciones favoritas, las repetimos a diario, las cantamos en nuestras reuniones con nuestros amigos con la esperanza de que algún día ustedes las toquen para nosotros.

¡Este 1 de noviembre tenemos esa oportunidad! ¡Usémosla, aprovechémosla! Hicimos un gran esfuerzo para reunir a miles de firmantes en esta carta y estamos de acuerdo en que alguna o algunas de estas 12 canciones sean consideradas por ustedes para que sean incluidas en el setlist de Bogotá:
