Dear Metropolitan police,

The community in Tottenham are tired of the lack of support we receive on eradicating drug dealing and crime in Bruce Grove Town Centre.

We have reported time and time again on the issues blighting our community, with regular drug dealing, prostitution and activities taking place outside Ladbrokes and along the high road for the last 5 years. 

The area has increasingly gotten worse over the last 6 months and a young person was sadly murdered outside Holcombe Market in the summer of 2022.

The community regularly feel unsafe and are unable to attend the post office and other facilities in the area due to them being scared or worried that something bad is going to happen. 

A more proactive strategy needs to take place where more community policing, engagement as well as on the ground interaction so that the area feels safer for the community walking in Bruce Grove town centre at all times of the day.
