LET THE DHHS COMMITTEE KNOW HOW YOU FEEL! IT IS TIME TO KILL NEBRASKA'S LB-343 IN COMMITTEE.
We need your assistance in protecting the safety of all Nebraskans. We are also very concerned about the best interests of present and future students. Education may be severely reduced. Professional Beauty Industry licenses have value and it is important to protect the integrity of them. Are you proud of the salon you work in? Do you have great faith in the Barber or Nail Tech you go to? If so, this is your call to action. Please act now! Our request to the Senators on the DHHS committee is simple: PLEASE KILL LB 343. IT IS NOT GOOD FOR NEBRASKA.
This bill was not well thought out. It goes too far and has not included guidance or expertise from Nebraska's beauty professionals, Nebraska State Boards, or schools. Much controversy exists regarding industry representation. These proposed new regulations will have adverse results that hurt professionals and salon owners financially. UNTIL A BETTER BILL CAN BE DRAFTED, WE WANT THIS ONE ENDED IN COMMITTEE.
