This is a huge milestone and shows just how strongly people in and around Mitcham Eastfields feel about the need for better trains, a stronger town centre, and properly supported green spaces.

Now that we’ve passed 1,000 signatures, I’ll be following up on our previous emails to local councillors and representatives to formally push for the petition to be acknowledged and acted on.

But this doesn’t stop here.

The more people who sign, the harder this is to ignore. Every extra signature increases the pressure for real action and shows this isn’t just a small group, but a growing community calling for change.
