Life in prison for any type of death

On Monday 13th November my brother, Thomas Edwards aged 16 was tragically killed by a man doing 3x over the speed limit. My brother was one of the kindest and nicest people you could ever come across and would have done anything for anyone. He was growing into a mature young man who had his whole life ahead of him. The 34 year old man who killed him, had previously done time in prison for murder that he somehow was cleared of the allegations. He was also involved in a series of armed robberies where he was sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2010 an was released in 2015 on licensing only doing 5 years. 2 years into his licensing, driving dangerously and who knows what else and he has changed our life forever.
If you murder someone with a knife, gun, hands etc it’s down as murder or manslaughter and possible life in prison. You murder someone by a car and it gets put down as death by dangerous driving and a maximum of 14 years. The justice system needs to change!!
All we want is justice for our Thomas and we don’t want him out of the streets for it happen to another family. Or for anyone else to go through what we are going through now.
On 26th January 2018, he was sentenced to 8 years... Here comes the injustice because he was recalled to prison for his previous crimes. This means he won’t serve one extra day for the killing of Thomas, NOT ONE EXTRA DAY!! He will also be back out on our streets by 2022.
This law needs to change and it needs to change fast. Please help us make this happen by signing this petition!!
Help me get 100,000 signatures and justice for Thomas
