I would like to ask Merlin Entertainments to stop selling single use plastics in Sealife.

Single use plastics are causing untold damage to our seas, lakes and rivers. Most of the plastic waste we produce takes hundreds of years to break down and is now being found both at the greatest depths of oceans and inside the creatures that live in them.
The Sealife Foundation are trying to raise awareness of this but simply telling people what they need to do to try and change this is not enough. The Sealife centres that help fund them are not practicing what they preach. They sell disposable plastics in their attractions and pre print photos that are then disposed of if they are not wanted. These add to the issues and set a poor example to follow.
Merlin Entertainments should consider telling their suppliers they will no longer stock items that are sold in single use plastic products and should encourage recycling by only selling items in easily recyclable packaging.
