Hello everyone. This is Pajama Ningen, a devoted UtaPri fan like all of you.

As of 25th October 2022, Tuesday, KLab has announced the closing of the EN and CN servers of Uta No Prince-Sama Shining Live. The game is scheduled to discontinue service completely by Christmas.

This has affected the UtaPri SL community very heavily. Our community has supported the game for years, built tremendous amounts of progress and spent lots of money on this game. Shining Live has always been a source of happiness on our darkest days. All the efforts, excitement and money that went into this game is about to end up meaning nothing. 

This decision is also painful as Shining Live is the only localised game of this franchise as well as the most active global media for the same.

I and the rest of our community are surely aware that the discontinuation of the applications for these servers is an almost irreversible decision. There are costs and other factors that may not allow for the continuation of these apps, as much as I'm pained to admit. However, this game is an important part of our life, and it is unacceptable to stand and watch all our efforts, memories and money go down the drain.

For this very reason I am starting petition to merge the CN and EN servers with the main JP server. Translating the text and integrating our accounts into the server is all we ask for. KLab has previously done this with Love Live!, so it is not a decision that they are truly unable to make.

I am now calling out to all Utapri fans and those who wish to support us, to come and sign this petition. Everything we contributed to this game happily is at the risk of fading away. Come sign this petition, and with our sheer will we may be able to bring this hope to fruition.

Remember, this game is the fruit of our hardwork as well as a bond that brings us together as a community. This is not just something that one or two of us want. Our entire community wants it!
