Deer bow hunting is taking place now through February 20 in Mercer Meadows park in Lawrence Twp., NJ. It is awful for these docile animals to be killed, but death by bow is especially slow and painful. Visitors to the park are "advised to stay on the finished gravel paths," which sounds like a risky place for humans too. Please urge Mercer County Park Commission to end this hunt.
