Meralco: Bill Shock during the Covid Crisis

I am one of the Filipino Citizens who felt the unjust billing of Meralco even during this time of crisis. Many have lost their jobs and people are trying to meet ends with their reduced salaries. I felt that the billing and explanation Meralco gave is not right. 

Case 1: Customers who paid March and April despite the ECQ. (I am one of them)

Example of my bill:

March bill: 2,703.74 PAID

April bill: 3,657.56 PAID

May bill: 7,748.42 

Their explanation is: May bill has the correct amount, why? They said my total bill is suppose to be: 14,106.74, so minus the amount I have already paid 2,703.74 + 3,657.56 this the May bill being 7,748.42.

March bill is prior to the ECQ so that has the accurate reading.


Case 2: Unpaid March and April


What we want is accurate billing! considering the situation we are in!
