We are people from New Orleans and beyond who have been touched by the life and work of Wendi O'Neal and we urge MCC not to damage its relationships with this community by firing her.  Facilitated by her position with MCC, Wendi has been able to support essential community organizing and racial justice efforts in the city. We see her removal from this position as unjust to her and a detriment to this important work.
