Memphis Oral School for the Deaf is set to open Aug 11, 2020. It will force deaf students to "use their ears" to communicate verbally rather than use ASL or lip/speech reading.

This sort of practice is ableist and abusive. The lasting effects of this "education" often manifest in personality issues and PTSD. It's a blatant practice of eugenics and an abhorant act of discrimination against a protected category of humans.
