On October 17, firefighter Pierre Lacroix lost his life in the tumultuous waters of the Lachine Rapids. I hope he will never be forgotten. Therefore, I want the pedestrian path that begins in Verdun on the edge of the St. Lawrence River and goes to Lachine, that crosses the place of his death, to become the Pierre Lacroix Path. In memory of Pierre, who sacrificed his life for others, as well as for his three colleagues who were rescued from the Lachine Rapids that evening. Let us honor them.

Pierre ran to save two lives in danger, so let's pay him this final tribute. I am asking you to sign this petition that I will present to the cities of Verdun, Lachine and Lasalle.
