Memegenerator.net is the birthplace of the racist and hateful Aboriginal memes which have been popping up all over Facebook. Users create text which is super-imposed over an image of an Aboriginal man's face. These memes pick on serious issues such as Aboriginal health, social status, substance abuse and lifestyle, strongly encouraging hatred toward Indigenous Australians.

Facebook has so far ignored public outcry calling for pages spreading these memes to be shut down. They need to be shut off at their source - Memegenerator.net - as well as continuing to petition Facebook to take down existing memes.
