At this point, we are going to call this a "win" for the referee cadre and our supporters. We need to keep the pressure on the board to accomplish a couple of key things: 1) Appoint a permanent Domestic Development Chair, based upon the recommendations of the new panel being assembled, and without regard to the personal feelings of the President or other persons. 2) Continue close oversight of the FOC to complete the restructuring and staff the subcommittees with knowledgeable persons. 3) Shine a light of transparency on the operations of the FOC to reduce the impact of bullying, harassment, and abuse of our referee cadre. 4) Establish a clear, permanent process for filling vacancies on the FOC that incorporates the voices of the referee cadre and provides mechanisms for elected representatives of the cadre to select its leaders.
