The early months of 2020 a historical global disaster is occurring irrelevant of border, person, position, country the global population has been left vulnerable.  Countries  locked down, borders closed, medical staff under extreme pressure on every land families losing loved ones daily, businesses closing, industries ending, our economies have crashed.  Over the course of this pandemic we Great Britain have supported the majority of industries to enable the population to stay at home, either paid, or receiving government support to return to their job.  However Key-workers our emergency services, health and social care workers, shop keepers and transport workers these industries are our front line industries often the lowest paid and often the employers that persons from outside the UK are working for.  This petition is to support that any individual who is working to support the British nations economy and public should be granted Indefinite Leave to Remain and British citizenship.   This petition is to support that any individual on a family visa whose British family member is supporting their right to remain in the UK and passes away from COVID 19 is granted Indefinite Leave.  This is the right thing to do the only thing we should do, we rewarded people in the past who joined our forces and supported war efforts with citizenship now lets reward those fighting and providing to keep us alive COVID 19 teaches us all we are equals, their isn't a monetary value equivalent to this.  Anyone with a moral compass will understand and appreciate this is the right thing to do, these individuals all pay between 1500 and 3000 per year to be in the UK with various visa fees, plus £400 NHS annual surcharge recently rising to £623 per annum alongside other tests requested by the UK government at hundreds of pounds each time.  These are some of the people protecting the vulnerable, growing our economy and saving lives these are part of our heroes and they should be recognized as so.  What is even more devastating is that for many of the immigrant key-workers here saving Britain is their own nations are also dying, economy crashing and they maybe losing people they love too.  Say Thank you.
