Word came out of Mustaine's Gimme Metal show that David Ellefson's already recorded bass tracks are going to be removed and re-recorded by as a yet unknown player. These tracks were laid down over a year ago! And David has himself said that he felt like he really had a groove with Dirk. Plus there was going to be track on which he was going to sing...
