Dr Ridwan Sjarif has been practicing as a GP in a converted house on Kiora Road, Miranda for approximately 40 years. This amazing man dedicated his entire life to help hundreds of people and has saved countless lives along the way. Dr. Sjarif cared for each and every one of his patient's at an individual level and was continually going above and beyond to ensure not only the health of his patients but their well being.

In February this year Dr. Sjarif was forced to resign after being “set up” for alleged medical incompetence and was “bullied” by the Medical Council to "retire". The Sutherland Shire community has lost an incredible GP who has been caring for families for generations. It would be in the best interest of our community for the Medical Council of NSW to reinstate Dr. Ridwan Sjarif  as a General Practitioner and allow him to practice once again.
