This law will save lives. If you think you are witnessing a drug overdose and seek/administer medical help, you will receive immunity from criminal charges. The overdose victim you're helping is also protected. Most drug overdoses involve a prescrition medication used with other medication. The time is NOW - No more deaths because 911 was not called in the case of an overdose. Help can come fast - and in the case of an opiate overdose - administer Nalaxone (Narcan) and it will stop the overdose immediately. Please support this petition....let's get this done!
