Tra lo sconcerto generale, alla prima messa in onda della nuova serie gli appassionati italiani hanno constatato l'assenza di Vanni: nessuna nuova sigla, ma piuttosto la presenza dell'Opening giapponese.

Quella che potete qui vedere allegata, è la Sigla che Giorgio Vanni ha già realizzato per l'occasione: è la sua SIGLA DI DRAGON BALL SUPER, "DRAGON BALL SUPER KAME HAME HA", mai trasmessa in TV e caricata dal cantante su YouTube.

Per il rispetto che si deve agli appassionati in attesa da anni d'una nuova serie così come di una nuova sigla, per maggior identità e aderenza alla tradizione musicale della saga qui in Italia e per favorire con una hit orecchiabile e d'impatto come questa il successo che le precedenti succitate iconiche canzoni di Vanni hanno garantito, con la presente Petizione vogliamo e chiediamo che questa sigla venga utilizzata, in sostituzione di quella giapponese, quale Opening ufficiale italiana di Dragon Ball Super su Italia1.

To everyone's dismay, for the first broadcast of the new series all italians fans have noted the absence of Vanni: no new song, but rather the presence of the Japanese Opening.
