Robert "Skippy"Carroll must be fired.

Robert "Skippy"Carroll - a Media Borough Police Sergeant and 1st Vice President of the Delaware County Lodge No. 27 FOP - posted the following on the FOP's Facebook Page:

"If you choose to speak out against the police or our members, we will do everything in our power to not support your business."

He shared this post on his personal Facebook page and added "Try us. We'll destroy you."

These are threats.  The sole purpose of these posts is to intimidate and silence those speaking out against the murder of George Floyd and state-sanctioned police violence.  It is a complete abuse of Sgt. Carroll's power and we call on Media Borough Police Department, Delaware County Council, and the State of Pennsylvania Municipal Police Education and Training Commission, where he is a commissioner, to relieve him of duty.

The removal of the posts and subsequent apology have done little to restore trust that Sgt. Carroll is philosophically suited to serve and protect the public, nor train others to do so.

Individuals can also contact the Media Borough police chief and Media Borough Council members directly to ask them to condemn these intimidation tactics and demand that Robert Carroll be relieved of duty:
