This is going to be a long post
So here it goes.
My cat was hit by a car on Monday( last Monday) my husband found him(still alive) and rushed him to Dr.Wing in cornville.
(We’ve had this cat for 7 years and he’s been a Huge part of our family) my husband was crying and told them to do everything and anything they could for him, price wasn’t a issue.
They just stuck him in a kennel, didn’t even look him over. My husband had to get to work, and again told them price is NO ISSUE.
I called later that afternoon to see how he was doing also crying. He told me he was going to do X-rays and give him fluids and to check back tomorrow.
Okay, so again I called the next morning to check on him, and they said “oh he peed so he can go home.
Excited I rushed there thinking they did everything they told me they were going to.
To my surprise when I got there the red head “nurse” was carrying him out by the scruff of his neck as he was screaming in pain so I grabbed him from her and asked if he had any broken bones and how he reacted with the fluid.
They then told me they didn’t do any of that....
“what seriously” I said and asked how they knew he didn’t have any broken bones. He said “ I’m guessing he don’t and just isn’t eating because his jaw is sore” then went on to tell me if he’s not eating by Thursday I should just give up on him.
Fk that, not happening.
I brought him home, he puked up blood chunks,
At this point I don’t trust any vet so looked up so many things I could do to help him. Although we did bring him to another vet to find out in fact he had 3 broken ribs, a fractured hip and broken teeth.
I fed and gave him fluids from a medicine dropper for 6 days gave him cbd oil and stroids.
No thanks to the crappy vet it’s now been 7 days and he’s thankfully eating on his own.
It’s been a long 7 days of our whole family crying non stop, but he’s getting better.
Let’s not forget that this cat is our family and my 4 year olds best friend.
This is just a warning post, not to go to Dr. wing if you want him to save your animals. Shots ya MAYBE, but I wouldn’t trust them with a frog.
I’ve also contacted a Laywer and other vets. I’ll be doing everything in my power to get him shut down.
Sorry for those who like him, but I’ve talked to 17 other people literally who have had experiences like this with him.
My cat is a inside ONLY cat, that snuck out with our puppy.
