32 years and unwanted pets are still euthanized in shelters, when the Government could have avoided the murdering off thousands by listening to rescue teams. Had the Government started desexing programs and educating the public we wouldn't have half the problems we face today. Up to 400, 000 Cats and Dogs are murdered every year just in Australia in shelters, and I question why ? . NSW have the biggest rates in numbers of euthanasia on unwanted pets in pounds and shelters, the numbers are insane. This is animal abuse in cold heart blood and I blame the government. The Australian government says no to violence against other human beings, but why is it they don't seem to care about the mental and emotional abuse they cause to rescue teams that love all living beings here on earth. The Government have the power to stop euthanasian on healthy unwanted pets in shelters but choose not to as it's a quick buck to there greedy needs. I put it to PM Malcolm Turnbull to discuss my issues with the slaugther on unwanted pets in shelters and I ask the public to sign my petition to in courage the Government to stop euthanasia in pounds and shelters and listen to rescue teams who can fix what our society has done because of Governments. Image if you where trapped or surrendered and your only crime was being born into a world where your forgotten because your human got sick of taking care of you. Jailed and faced the death penalty, just image how you would feel, this is what unwanted pets face unless rescued. Once they are euthanized they are dumped or used for experiment for uni students or in laboratory, image how you would feel if that happen to you. Not even thought off as a living being.
