Since the beginning of time there has been one vegetable that's been disrespected and stripped off every form of individuality imaginable...THAT'S RIGHT it's BROCCOLI.

The people have spoken and they insist that great changes should be implemented in our English language. We are aware that changing the plural form of broccoli to "broccolis" is a bit unrealistic, therefore, we have reached a conclusion. A new singular form of "broccoli" is to be adopted (broccole) in order to satisfy the needs of the raging population.

This year broccoli was undeservingly rated as the 4th most hated vegetable on the planet which contributed further to its dying reputation. Don't even let me start on its popularity among children...LET'S PUT AN END OF THIS INSANITY TOGETHER! 

Scientists have proved that there is a correlation between the lack of an adequate singular form of a vegetable and its popularity. With the implementation of this new singular form- "broccole" we hope to create a world where broccoli can regain its place in the vegetable hierarchy once again and bring peace to the veggie kingdom.

We have provided an example of the usage of the singular "broccole" and the plural "broccoli" below:

Question: If John has purchased 79 big broccoli from the broccoli shop, each one  having a cluster of 11 pieces of small broccoli, and decides to eat 868 pieces of the small broccoli, how many broccoli does he have left? (makes sense, right!)

Answer: 79*11-868=1 Therefore, John has one broccule left.
