Charge Ian Duncan Smith with murder.

The Issue

The news that Smith is resigning whilst welcome is not enough. This member of the 'political class' has far too much blood on his hands, has delighted (imo) in the misery and suffering and death he has caused among the most vulnerable in our society and their surviving families and is trying to get away with it by ignoring the public outcry and quietly resigning to a directorship somewhere and a life of opulence and comfort. The petition calling for his resignation has reached only 72,000 signatures at time of writing so in other words he 'decides' to resign 'on his own accord' once it becomes clear the 100,000 required to force a debate in parliament is a realistic figure, he's doing as he's told to avoid further public embarrassment for government and avoid any justice for the surviving family members of his victims. Do you think this is right?
