I've received updates that changes continue to happen at FISD and I think it's time to call the fight. Our pressure helped push positive change. The band director has been removed from the high school, the head athletic director and 2 other coaches have been removed at the high school. The principal is slated for replacement at the end of the school year. The school super has 'retired' and will be replaced end of school year. We can't change the bad decisions of the past and convicting those bad decisions is the role of the police and courts. The incoming super has played a role in pushing these changes and I think we can say they are good ones. If this is an indicator of things to come I think we have accomplished our goal of seeing change in leadership and decision making withing FISD. Thank you to everyone that supported the petition and spoke up.
