Reputation vs doing right

Met with the FISD superintendent and her upcoming replacement yesterday for 2 hours. What stood out the most? They admit leaving the coach in place despite never completing an investigation to clear him of wrongdoing. What's worse? They don't want to remove him for fear the public interprets that to mean their is a problem in the district. Hmmmm....protect your reputation or protect kids?
