McNairy County Goverment, Please Build a Animal Shelter.

We have a lot of dogs running the streets and getting turn lose in the country because we have no Shelter.I, the undersigned, support the building of an animal shelter in Selmer, Tennessee to provide services to the undeserved areas of McNairy,TN.

These are the Towns and Cities of McNairy, (Finger,Ramer,Adamsville,Bethel Springs,Eastview,Guys,Michie,Milledgreville,Selmer, and Stantoville. etc.).

There is NO municipal animal shelter in McNairy County.
We have dogs being turned lose and killed because of no shelters.

The McNairy shelter will house dogs, cats, and any other creatures needing assistance. It will function as a shelter for homeless pets and will offer such common shelter elements as spay/neuter services, vaccinations, license tags, responsible pet ownership training, and public education. Students will be encouraged to volunteer to earn community service hours there.

We recommend that this be a NO KILL SHELTER.

Thank you.
