For the longest time, the greenery around McMurry's Ryan Art Building has been severely neglected, leaving the front of our art building and the surrounding area looking haunted and vacant. We had beautiful bushes and flowers that are now wilted and dead, and trees that have been chopped down because they died. Yesterday, September 8th, the tree at the west entrance of the Ryan building was removed after it had died, joining the other trees.

All we, the students, ask is that when it's fall, and the weather cools, we have two trees planted outside of the Ryan building on the west side to replace the trees that have been taken down. Also, please ensure our sprinkler system is turned on in the flower beds around the Ryan building. Please replace the plants in the  flower beds that have died.

In gratitude for all you do for students,

McMurry Fine Arts Majors and Minors
