Baylor campus has cancelled classes throughout next week amidst the COVID-19 virus. I and other students believe that Mclennan Community College should also extend their spring break as well. Colleges such as, Baylor, SMU, Texas State, and Rice University, have all extended spring break. Many of our students are from out of town, and have been traveling throughout spring break, which puts not only the students but the staff at risk as well. Many professors are elderly, and many of our students are immunocompromised. In conclusion,  consider extending spring break and making classes online to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus.
