The CDC recommends masks to be worn indoors, regardless of vaccination status for all K-12 schools. 

Not only are masks not required in McKinney ISD schools, but most of the schools have no social distancing in place for the students and personnel. This is making school environments unsafe, and uncomfortable for all students who care about their health. There is no virtual/remote option this year and currently no plans to offer it due to lack of funding.

This petition is to try and open the eyes of officials to enforce a mask mandate in our schools. Especially in those schools where the students do not meet the minimum age requirement for the vaccine. 

Help prevent viruses and infections such as COVID-19 and other variants and make masks mandatory in McKinney ISD schools by signing this petition.
