The Issue

We deserve better leadership and accountability in our community. Please take a moment to share this petition so we can raise awareness and address this critical issue. This petition seeks the removal of Kristy Bowman, the McKays Mill Community Manager, and Mike Franklin, the HOA President, due to their continued lack of integrity, honesty, and professional conduct.

Mike Franklin and Kristy Bowman fabricated a report to local law enforcement, falsely accusing me of harassment—an accusation for which there is no evidence or proof. I possess bodycam footage and witness testimonies that support my claims. Despite my attempts to communicate with the HOA, my calls were ignored, and shortly thereafter, this false report was filed, in an attempt to silence my inquiries and stop my contact with the HOA.

Having been a resident of McKays Mill for over two decades, I can no longer stand by as these individuals consistently overstep their boundaries and engage in unethical behavior. The false reports to law enforcement and their ongoing slander leave me with no choice but to take action.

Furthermore, it has come to light that these individuals misuse private information, including emails and personal data, to manipulate and mislead members of our community. They have violated the trust of residents, and their actions demonstrate a complete disregard for the ethics and responsibilities associated with their positions.

The community deserves leadership with integrity, transparency, and respect for all residents. Unfortunately, Mike Franklin and Kristy Bowman have demonstrated a pattern of misconduct that is unacceptable for those in positions of authority. When questions are raised by community members like myself, the response is often to silence, ignore, or, as in my case, file unfounded legal complaints to suppress legitimate concerns.

It is especially troubling that the HOA has engaged a Nashville-based attorney to handle my correspondence. This attorney, much like the CMA Community Management company they represent, appears to be part of a pattern of diffusing responsibility to avoid addressing concerns, as evidenced by their handling of this matter.

The community deserves ethical leadership—individuals who are dedicated to serving the residents with honesty and respect. Kristy Bowman and Mike Franklin have repeatedly failed in this regard, and it is time for them to be removed from their positions. But to make this change, we need your support.

CMA Community Management, the company overseeing our community management, holds a 2.0/5.0 rating on Google and a 1.0/5.0 rating on Yelp. Ask yourself: should we continue to have someone from CMA managing our community?

Please click below to add your voice to this petition. Together, we can find new management that is truly committed to the well-being of every resident—not just to collecting a paycheck.

Thank you for your time and support.
