On the 26th March 2018 McGills Buses will cease to operate the number 19 and number 8 services in Renfrewshire. The communities of Linwood, Houston, Johnstone, Bridge of Weir, Paisley, Inchinnan, and others will be impacted by the loss of the number 8 and number 19 bus services in Renfrewshire. For many people it is the only viable option to travel to work, school, college, university and for our elderly people to commute between the villages and towns in Renfrewshire. It is also one of the only options available to travel to Johnstone Train Station for some commuters. 

By signing this petition you are showing the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) and Mcgills buses that you are against the withdrawal of these services and that you support the number 8 and number 19 service in Renfrewshire remaining.

I hope that this petition can generate enough signatures that Mcgills and SPT come to realise that these bus routes are vital to the people of Renfrewshire.
