Many people just returned from oversea travels during the Spring Break
Many people are sneezing and coughing in class
Many people have preexisting or underlying health conditions
Even though all other universities from Harvard to UCLA to Georgetown to Colorado have closed and/or shifted to online learning, McGill University is still business-as-usual.
Every day, 45,000 students and staff are congregating at McGill University, creating an enormous potential for the virus to spread if it didn’t already start.
The school officials say that they are “looking into the matter” “we’re researching it.”
We don’t know how long it’s going to take them to “research” the matter, or what is it that they are actually “researching”
But there is one thing we know for sure:
Many professors are on our side.
Your health matters. Your professor’s health matters.
Tell your professor, emailing them, and telling them please cancel today’s class, and tomorrow’s, and Next Monday’s, until further notice.
All they need is a skype or zoom account, or a youtube recording.
Be creative. Work with your professors.
Enough is enough. The time is right now, e-mail your professor.
(There is no template because you already have the draft in your heart)
