Make Your Cups Easily Recyclable

Make Your Cups Easily Recyclable
The Issue
I recently discovered that your plastic cups are made of #5 plastic (aka Polypropylene) and unfortunately this is a type of plastic that is not easily recyclable.
According to a report on Plastics by EarthEasy, they note that only around 3% of #5 plastic is recycled in the United States. The common plastics #1 and #2, a lot of companies use – which is recyclable from home and a common recycled plastic.
Chick-Fil-A has been using styrofoam cups for years but they have launched in-store recycling for customers to reduce their footprint.
I need your help in urging McDonald's to phase out the use of #5 plastic in their drink cups and/or launch an in-store recycling program for drink cups that are not accepted in most city curbside recycling programs.
