On 11/4/2018 I went to my local McDonalds fine dining establishment to partake in the annual releasing of the delicious McRib sandwich. I wanted to compliment my McRib with a 6-piece Chicken McNugget but I was shocked to find out that Hot Mustard sauce is no longer offered as a dipping sauce. I had to settle with Sweet and Sour sauce which was still satisfactory, but the Hot Mustard sauce would have made the meal more enjoyable. 

On 11/5/2018, several of my friends were discussing the awesome McRib meals they had and they too also complimented it with a side of Chicken McNuggets. Then the conversation took a sad turn when they also lamented about the lack of Hot Mustard sauce at their respective McDonalds. Shortly thereafter, it came to light that Hot Mustard sauce is no longer offered in the Midwest. The East and West Coasts have it but for some reason the Midwest does not. We felt slighted by this oversight considering McDonalds Corporation is located right here in our city! 

If variety is the spice of life, then Hot Mustard sauce is the spice rack which holds them all. We emplore McDonalds Corporation to bring back Hot Mustard Sauce back to Chicago. While it may not bring about world peace, it’ll definitely make my Chicken McNuggets more savory.
