Over the past year when going to McDonalds I've noticed the quality/flavour of my favourite item has gone down tremendously. At first I thought they were trying to make it healthier by adding a whole wheat tortilla but when I went back I realized something else was off, it couldn't just be the tortilla making it taste this bad...

I proceeded to open up the wrap to see a halved, processed chicken patty and a slice of processed cheese in place of the seasoned chicken strip and shredded cheese I had gotten over the past 10+ years of the Chicken Snack Wraps life span.

Disappointed I just brushed that off as an issue with my local McDonald's stock of shredded cheese and chicken strips then went on my way. Oh well, right?

Forward to the future, I'm in a different city and looking forward to stopping off for my favourite McDonalds snack and bam, it's the same. This whole time I was putting blame on my local McDonalds but in reality my blame should be on McDonalds as a whole and those running it.

If Chris Kempczinski can make $18,000,000 a year (CEO of McDonalds as of Nov. 2019, coincidentally matching the change of the Chicken Snack wrap in the fall). Then I want some real chicken and some real cheese on my chicken wrap.

Here's conformation on that coinciding timing of these 2 events from a McDonalds rep

"Yes, our wraps have changed. The changed was proposed last fall and now, all our wraps are made with whole wheat tortilla shells and sliced cheese. We are disappointed you no longer enjoy our wraps and we have forwarded your feedback to the appropriate department for review.

Don't fool yourself into thinking the change to whole wheat tortillas was about health like I did, in reality it was just a way to mask the change to the other lower quality ingredients inside.
