As Gen Xers can attest, when McDonald's stopped frying their apple pies, it fundamentally changed the taste of them and limited the dessert options, ostensibly to create a healthier product. The problem is that the baked apple pies are not only inferior in taste, but actually have WORSE nutritional values than the old fried pies did. Please bring back this delectable treat!
