On April 15, 2020, MBUSD officials will almost certainly discuss and begin formulating a plan to make necessary adjustments to this year’s graduation in order to account for the possibility of continued school closures.

During said talks, some will most likely suggest that the best option is to hold an online graduation on the previously scheduled date of June 11, 2020.

This petition will be presented to the MBUSD School Board in order to demonstrate the senior class’ clear and present desire to hold an in-person graduation ceremony later in the summer, assuming it is safe to do so.
