With regards to the current Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Plan Review, we believe it is time to end to the practice of Bottom Trawling in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary so that the entire sanctuary, from the surface of the ocean to the bottom of the sea floor, is completely protected.

Numerous scientific studies have been done that have shown that the practice of Bottom Trawling Fishing Techniques is far too destructive to the marine ecosystem.
