Still, I am happy to say that we had a great meeting with Mayoral Candidate Kim Lund and her husband Gil today. She, her husband Gil, Atul Deshmane, and Barry Buchanan are the only candidates in the current race that have had the courage to get the entire story on broadband and the generations deep corruption surrounding it at the PUD, Port, City and County levels.
We discussed many issues, including education, the environment, homelessness, the jail, the economy, life for working families, broadband and more.
I bring this up because it was obvious that better broadband connections would have a positive impact on addressing all of these issues. As I've said before, "having a county-wide public fiber to the premises network would help us address most of our social and economic issues." 
So, I am now placing Kim ahead of Mike McAuley. I am still placing both of them ahead of all of the other candidates who seem still not to grasp the gravity of this issue.
