Senator Rolfes Bill to Remove the Restriction Keeping PUDs from Being ISPs

Right now many Washington communities are using the OpenAccess model for access to their Public Fiber. This is a good model, and I have nothing bad to say about it, however I found something very interesting. Senator Rolfes has proposed a bill that would remove the restriction currently keeping PUDs from being ISPs.
