This is the GRIM REALITY of HASS. Someone found this dog Nesa and took her to El Paso Animal Services. And true to form, according to the HASS Plan, El Paso Animal Services denied intake of Nesa, didn't scan her for a chip and when the finder told the staff member at Animal Services he could not hold on to Nesa, he was instructed by the staff member to "put her back on the street and someone else will find her."
So there it is...this is the result of HASS and what it is doing to the dogs in our city. How many more must suffer and die before someone, ANYONE, with any decision making power in our city will finally put an end to HASS? Nesa was chipped and the chip is registered to a local rescue. Had someone at Animal Services checked for a chip (at the very least) and contact the rescue to come pick her up, Nesa would be alive today.
But how can we, the community, think our companion animals and pets would be treated as the breathing, feeling beings they are when El Paso Animal Services, Mayor Oscar Lesser and the City Council Members see our beloved pets and companion animals as "LIVING DUMB CREATURES".
The only "living dumb creatures" in our city is Ramon Herrera, interim director of El Paso Animal Services, Mayor Oscar Lesser and every City Council Member! Nesa's blood is on their hands and they all need to be held accountable.
