A large number of Long Point Residents continue to receive extremely high water bills cycle after cycle. This problem appears to be somewhat unique to Long Point and no one at the Utility Service Division is willing nor able to explain it to us.  It is simply unrealistic and unacceptable for families to be expected to pay $500 and $600+ water and sewer  bills.  Our usage does not justify it. 
The bulk of each bill appears to be in sewer charges and it is disproportionately high compared to other residents of Savannah including residents on the islands.  
We, the affected residents of Long Point demand an investigation into the nature and source of these unreasonably high sewer charges and either a solution or a valid explanation for them.
