Firstly, a huge thanks to all who’ve supported the idea of a dedicated bike track in Mosman, in less than 2 days over 590 people have signed this petition.  We believed that getting 500 supporters was enough to be able to present the idea of a bike track to Council & the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Trust.  So to get that in two days is brilliant.  We understand the issue was raised at a Mosman Council meeting last night, which is also a good step forward.  

We want to categorically apologise to Mayor Corrigan, as we are now advised it was an ex-Mayor who wrote to the governing authority of the area which the kids currently use as a bike track.  We want to apologise for any difficulty we have caused Mayor Corrigan, as this was not our intention whatsoever.  Further we want to thank her for her engagement over the last 24 hours, as well as the 3 Councillors; Simon Menzies, Roy Bendall and Jacqui Willoughby who also all engaged wonderfully over the last 24 hours.

We will now conclude this petition and present it to both Sydney Harbour Foreshore Trust and Mosman Council.
