There is a deadly intersection off of route 17/Bridge road in Chesapeake/ Suffolk Virginia that needs a red light.  This intersection is so unsafe for drivers that there has been 3 accidents that I know of in the past year as well as most recent a fatality.  A man by the name of Robert Harrell Jr. UPDATE  Today, history repeated itself and. Motorcyclist Wayne Ripson died tragically in an accident at this same intersections. 09/19/2025 

  Please put a traffic light there before  anyone else trying to get onto the 64 ramp from Route 17 and unknowingly pulls out into oncoming traffic because it is very hard to tell if the oncoming vehicles are traveling straight on 17 or taking the right exit onto Interstate 64.
