Dear fellow Hoboken residents,
We urge you to please come out tonight! The City is voting on two key waterfront initiatives and we are expecting opposition. We just need to make sure our voices are louder than theirs!
Please show the City Council that YOU DEEPLY CARE ABOUT OUR WATERFRONT tonight.
We encourage you to ask the City Council to vote in favor of both waterfront initiatives on the agenda (the Monarch settlement and Hoboken's purchase of Union Dry Dock).
Let them know that you DO NOT WANT another unsafe waterfront development that will obstruct public access and DO NOT WANT a refueling / maintenance ferry depot next to where children live and play.
Tonight - Wed, August 7th @ 7pm - City Hall @ 94 Washington St
If you'd like to sign up ahead of time to make public comments at the Special Council meeting, email the City Clerk at j.lore@hobokennj.gov.
And if you haven't already done so, please be sure to sign our friend FBW's Union Dry Dock petition: https://betterwaterfront.org/?page_id=10483
