I wish to voice my opposition to the Army Corps of Engineers' & the Chicago Department of Transportation's proposed plans to build a toxic dump on the Southeast Side of Chicago in the 10th Ward. The proposed site will contain lead, manganese, CBD's, chromium, arsenic, coal tar and other toxic materials harmful to our families. There are currently 8 landfills in the 10th ward. We do not want this in our community!

As concerned citizens, we want our federal representatives and city officials to listen to our voices and put an immediate stop to all plans to build another dump containing toxic dredge materials. We want to raise our families in healthy communities free of pollution. As elected officials, we are asking you to represent the views of your residents and put a stop to this proposed toxic dump.
