My name is Michelle Deveze I am Founder of Pets Alive Laredo. I have a strong passion for our stray pets of Laredo and hopefully together we can give them a better chance at life. Small communities and Large cities around us provide a Euthanasia List from their city shelter; there is no reason why Laredo can't. It is time to take off the blind fold put on by our city leaders.Our community needs to realize the depth of our pet overpopulation crisis. Our domestic, loyal and loving animals are being Euthanized daily because WE put them in that situation. We can not learn from our mistakes if we are not informed. We need our community to come together and help our furry stray friends to receive a chance at life. I would like to see an image/picture of each pet entering our city shelter this will give them a chance to find their way back home or a loving home within the 72 hr holding time- we will not be able to save them all but at least we can give them hope and a chance to live, those that do not leave our city shelter alive may the R.I.P.
