The Mayor of Seville and others should learn from this wonderful example. Instead of blaming these two parrots; Myiopsitta monachus ( Argentinian) & the Psittacula krameri ( Kramer), we should be looking at the real reasons behind the Greater noctule Bat and the Lesser kestrel's states of endangerment :

. .“In the stadium of Futbol Club Barcelona, there are about thirty species, mostly birds that nest inside the stadium (also bats and reptiles). The list includes, in addition to protected species such as the royal swift, the common swift, the vulgar kestrel - a small hawk - or the rock plane (with wings lighter than the swallow), as well as other more common ones, such as swallows , goldfinches , sparrows or verderones ; and, even, invasive, like parrots from Argentina and Kramer …”

Please note how all these species all cohabit in this space, including Myiopsitta monachus ( Argentinian parrot), and Psittacula krameri ( Kramer parrot). This is a perfect example proving that they are not responsible for endangering other wildlife, and to look elsewhere for blame, regarding the overall decrease of the Greater noctule bat and the Lesser kestrel.

“The project plans to install artificial nests during the works and after. In fact, the Camp Nou is a perfect ecosystem for many birds, which take advantage of its cracks, holes and cavities (rupícolas) to obtain refuge and form their nests. The large vertical facades of the field, over 50 meters high, are a perfect place for birds that breed on cliffs. Few buildings in Barcelona meet such good conditions in this regard.”
